An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SRM Specialist to join a leading organisation in Abu Dhabi. The role will manage the end-to-end supplier lifecycle, including registration, onboarding, qualification, master data, risk and governance, while supporting supplier performance, compliance and continuous improvement across procurement operations.

A leading organisation in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Specialist to join its Procurement function. This role will be responsible for managing the supplier lifecycle, ensuring a compliant, accurate and high-quality supplier base while supporting effective supplier governance, performance and relationship management.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience across supplier registration, onboarding, qualification, due diligence and master data management, alongside a strong understanding of supplier risk, procurement compliance and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end supplier lifecycle, including registration, onboarding, qualification, supplier updates, reviews, suspension, blacklisting and phase-out activities.

  • Review supplier information, documentation and declarations to ensure completeness, accuracy, compliance and audit readiness.

  • Coordinate supplier due diligence, conflict-of-interest checks, risk questionnaires and supporting evidence requirements.

  • Maintain accurate supplier registration records and master data across ERP and procurement systems.

  • Manage supplier master data integrity, including duplicate checks, profile updates, document expiry monitoring and sensitive-field validation controls.

  • Coordinate with Finance and other internal stakeholders on bank, tax, payment and supplier information validations.

  • Monitor supplier certifications, regulatory documentation, ICV status and other governance requirements.

  • Identify suppliers requiring enhanced due diligence and support supplier risk mitigation, remediation and escalation activities.

  • Support supplier segmentation and manage supplier performance scorecards, review cycles, corrective actions and supplier development plans.

  • Build effective relationships with key and strategic suppliers to support value creation, innovation, continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

  • Track SRM KPIs and analyse supplier performance, risk indicators and operational issues for management reporting.

  • Support supplier governance forums, business reviews, supplier communications and stakeholder follow-ups.

  • Identify opportunities to improve supplier onboarding, master data management, reporting, controls and workflow automation.

Candidate Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of experience within procurement, supplier management, vendor management or supply chain operations.

  • Demonstrable experience in supplier registration, onboarding, qualification and supplier governance.

  • Strong knowledge of supplier due diligence, risk management, procurement compliance, controls and supplier master data.

  • Experience in supplier performance management and stakeholder relationship management.

  • Experience working with ERP platforms; Oracle Fusion and procurement reporting tools would be highly advantageous.

  • Strong analytical, reporting, communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline.

  • CIPS, CPSM, CPM or an equivalent procurement qualification would be advantageous.

  • Experience within financial services, investment, government or another regulated environment would be beneficial.

  • Arabic language capability would be advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional looking to take ownership of supplier lifecycle management within a sophisticated and highly governed procurement environment.
